Heart Breakingly Good Desserts

Try our (almost) guilt free desserts. They are all vegetarian friendly and easily adjusted to be vegan friendly too. We have to say they are absolutely delicious, so much so that you might just fall in love with them!

Coconut Flour Fudgey Brownies
Makes 16 brownies
These brownies are 90% guilt free, the only cheeky ingredient being some butter, or substitute if you prefer. This recipe produces delicious, dense brownies which taste rich and decadent. The recipe calls for only 3/4 cup of Manuka honey, which produces a great bitter flavour, similar to that of 60% Cocoa Chocolate, but if you prefer a sweeter chocolate flavour, use approximately 1/2 a cup .
  • 1/2 cup or 50g of coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, or melted butter if preferred
  • 3 eggs, best if left at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup UMF 5+ Manuka Honey
  • Tastes great with an added dash of vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 150C and grease a baking dish or tray. Make sure that the tray does not cause the mixture to spread too thin, approximately 1 inch in depth works well.
Mix together all of the ingredients thoroughly.
Pour into the tray and bake for 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Once baked, leave to cool for 30 minutes (if you can wait!) before cutting or removing from the pan. These brownies last well, kept in the fridge in a container…unless of course you can’t help yourself!
Chocolate Avocado Pudding
Serves 6
This isn't your ordinary pudding recipe - creamy avocado, yoghurt and Manuka honey make this dish sweet while still keeping it healthy!
  • 2 avocados, peeled and cut
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup UMF 5+ Manuka Honey
  • 2 tbsp. plain Greek yogurt (you can use a dairy free alternative, providing it is thick)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (to be added gradually)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Pinch sea salt
Throw all of the ingredients, except the almond milk, into a food processor. Once well mixed, gradually add in the almond milk until the consistency is smooth, but you are still able to form peaks with a spoon.
This pudding looks great served in individual ramekins with nuts sprinkled on top.
